Little Little Golden Books are basically miniature versions of their counterpart Little Golden Books. They are the identical 24 page versions just shrunk down to about 3 inches square. They were produced in the late 80’s and through the early 90’s. Each book was numbered and they went through #71. They were produced as singles and many were packed in 2-packs in sequence as well as later in jumbled packs. I believe a #72 was produced but it was only available packed with a Sleeping Beauty doll- it might have been a Barbie. There were some oddities as well- I have a number of The Shy Little Kitten that have no number! Quite a few were also available through special promotions, like Life Savers and Hardees. There were also some packages with Little Littles- there was a Mickey Tiny Theatre with 10 books and a Mickey Mouse figurine. I have a couple of those and quite a few of the regular books and 2-packs available. Kids love these books- they are pocket sized and great for travel. In the past my family has put a rubber band through them and hung them up as ornaments as well. Just plain fun.
